THE RETURN OF PHIPPS

The BBC were here on Thursday to film about the return of THE PHIPPS BREWERY to the town.

A hundred years after brewing equipment was taken out, engineers have recently been putting new tanks and pipes back into the Victorian 'Albion Brewery' building on Foundry Lane in Northampton.

We have been serving PHIPPS IPA for almost 5 years and it is a regular feature on our bar. To hear that it is going to be brewed back where it started is great news.

As a CAMRA LocALE certified pub, we are delighted at the news and are strong supporters of local breweries in Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties too.
